For businesses, corporate companies, and institutions the service is available for
Ecowas Diaspora Banking customers with business accounts, as well as non-Ecowas
Diaspora House customers but for bulk payments only. However Ecowas Diaspora
House customers can also register for bulk payments only.

How secure is Ecowas Diaspora Banking? The Bank uses security provided by robust authentication software and enterprise firewalls along with full 256bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
In addition:
- Every time you want to log in, you will be required to enter two passwords: the one you received at registration, and another one you will receive on SMS or generate using a ‘token’ at the point of logging in. The one you receive on SMS or generate using the ‘token’ is a one-time password that cannot be changed or repeated again.
- The system will log you out if you leave your internet browser idle for a while. This offers some level of safety for customers who access their account at a cyber cafés and other public internet access points.

- Once the application has been approved, the User ID and Password are automatically generated by the
Ecowas Diaspora Banking system and sent to your email address. If you prefer to be generating the second password using a token, you will collect it once your application has been approved, at a small fee.
Can a customer use Ecowas Diaspora Banking if they live outside Benin? Yes. Being an internet based system, you can access
Ecowas Diaspora Banking anywhere, as long as you have internet access.

For business and corporate customers, how many users can be allowed to transact on an account? The customer can have as many users as possible access the accounts, as long as they have their own User ID and password.
How to request for a password reset:Write an email to
internetbanking@ecowasdiasporabank.com requesting for a password reset, indicating your username, and the organisation (for business and corporate customers)
Can a customer withdraw from the service? Yes, you can withdraw from the service. All you need to do is give a letter to the bank with instructions requesting us to terminate the service. For a business or corporate customer, all the signatories will need to sign the letter.
